Does anyone suffer from bone cyst[s]? I've read they are a sign of osteo arthritis. Could they be a sign of fibro also?

I think that you may have bone spurs mixed up with bone cysts and osteoarthitis.
I have osteoarthitis (OA) but no bone spurs so far. I know other people with OA that do have bone spurs.
Fibromyalgia is a disorder of the central nervous system. OA is a condition that is associated with it. It is entirely possible to have OA and NOT have Fibromyalgia. To be sure, you would have to see a rheumotologist. Take care.

Hi Fantod, thanks for answering. I should have been more clear about the cyst. Fibro fog.. It's a subchondral cyst on my hip. At least that's what the dr.s say. Sometimes very painful to sit...
I've had fibromyalgia since 1997, and have seen many dr's. ( rheumatologist, dermatologist, and the like.) More than I like to think of. My next step is to see a pain management specialist. I asked the question above because of new symptoms. I thought I knew the answer.. And I did. I'm grasping at straws now, and doing everything I can think of to try and relive some of the pain I'm in. I have symptoms of other conditions, and I guess I wanted them to all tie in as one condition. Ah desperation.... Thanks again Fantod.
